EFR Care For Children Course

Creating Confidence to Care

The EFR Care For Children program teaches you how to provide emergency care for injured or ill children and infants. These skills are learned in a non-stressful environment that encourages your action. The course focuses on primary and secondary care for children (1 - 8 years old) and infants (< 1 year old). The skills learned in this course are:

  • Conscious Choking Child
  • Conscious Choking Infant
  • Rescue Breathing - Child
  • Rescue Breathing - Infant
  • One Rescuer CPR - Child
  • One Rescuer CPR - Infant
  • Care For Children - Baby In Trouble & Multiperson Crash Scenarios

After completing your EFR Secondary Care certification, don't forget about the next step - your PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider or DAN Diving Emergency Management Provider (DEMP) certification.
