EFR Secondary Care (First Aid) Course

Creating Confidence to Care

The EFR Secondary Care (first aid) course covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening or when local EMS is unavailable or delayed. You focus on secondary assessment and first aid through knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice. The Secondary Care (first aid) skills you learn are:

  • Injury Assessment
  • Illness Assessment
  • Bandaging
  • Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures

After completing your EFR Secondary Care certification, don't forget about the next step - your EFR Care For Children or PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider or DAN Diving Emergency Management Provider (DEMP) certification.
